State Police Log, May-June 2013: Firecrackers, Narcotics and a Warrant

A collection of various Narragansett and South Kingstown-related arrests made by RI State Police. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

 

Lincoln Woods Barracks

  • On May 27 at 3:38 p.m. Troopers arrested Joseph Manfredi, 54, of 101 Laurel Ln., South Kingstown on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charges Blocked Means Egress originating out of the Department of Fire Safety. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Cranston. Manfredi was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and released. 

Third District Court

  • On June 4, Detectives arrested Kyle Wilkinson, 31, of 61 Woodbine St., South Kingstown, RI, for the following: 1) Sale, Use or Possession of Fireworks; and 2) Unlawful Firecrackers. Wilkinson was arraigned in Third District Court before the Honorable Judge Houlihan, where he was released on $3,000 Personal Recognizance.

Wickford Barracks 

  • At 8:11 p.m. on June 15, Troopers, arrested Brittney Sumpter, 24, of 130 Mettatuxet Rd., Narragansett, RI, for Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I, and IV (Suboxone) The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 138, in the Town of North Kingstown. Sumpter was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned, and held overnight at State Police Headquarters pending morning arraignment.
