Check back here for the latest in closings, cancellations and delays.

1:10 p.m. – Already, several businesses, schools and government organizations are shifting meetings or events to compensate for the projected one to two feet of snow for Friday and Saturday.
Here is the list of cancellations we’ve gotten so far:
- From South Kingstown principal Robert McCarthy, due to the impending weather, we're starting a little earlier tomorrow and skipping the lunch break so we can get all of our senior portfolio presentations completed by 11:30 a.m., before the worst of the weather hits. I've attached the document that teachers are utilizing when they meet with seniors today. (See attached PDF.) The revised schedule is also on our website.
- From Pier School enrichment teacher Vanessa Miller, due to inclement weather all of the Pier School’s performances of The Wiz are cancelled for this weekend. For those of you who have already purchased tickets to the show(s), they will be honored as follows: Friday, Feb 8 tickets will be honored Thursday, Feb 28 at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb 9 tickets will be honored Saturday, March 2 at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb 10 tickets will be honored Sunday, March 3 at 1 p.m. Stay safe this weekend!
- From Thompson Middle School athletic director Robert Campion III: With the pending storm for Friday and Saturday, RIPCOA will postpone the boys’ basketball semifinals until Monday, February 11. The games are at the same times, 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. The girls’ games will be played as scheduled today. (The Pier Middle School of Narragansett was scheduled to play on Friday – see here.)
- Narragansett has a parking ban that’s in effect on Monday 7 a.m. It goes on until question mark, hurrah!
We will post more cancellations and what not as they come in. Got some of your own? Feel free to post them in the comments, or shoot an e-mail to Stephen.greenwell@patch.com.
