NOTICE is hereby given that a Public Hearing by and before the Zoning and Platting Board of Review of the Town of Narragansett is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the Narragansett Town Hall, 25 Fifth Avenue, to consider and act upon the following applications:

Almonte, Plat M, Lot 167-139, 4 Lane Six, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically a Special Use Permit from the Breakwater Village Special District (Section 4.8.1.6[f]), to demolish the existing foundation and construct a new larger foundation, which the existing dwelling will sit on, and construct a second story addition with a second story deck on the west side, at the above referenced property.

Eventides LLC, Plat I-J, Lot 7, 1108 Succotash Road, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically a Special Use Permit from the Coastal Resources Overlay District (Section 4.4), a Special Use Permits for Nonconforming Uses and Structures – Continuance (Section 9.1) and a Special Use Permit for Alterations to Nonconforming Structures and Uses (Section 10.1), to demolish two (2) existing separated preexisting non-conforming dwellings and construct a single structure, two (2) family dwelling, at the above referenced property.

McShane, Plat Y-1, Lot 256, 21 Betty Hill Road, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically a Variance and a Special Use Permit for the Coastal Resources Overlay District (Section 4.4), and Variances from the Dimensional Regulations (Section 6.4), to construct a second-floor addition, front entry way addition, side staircase addition and rear sundeck addition, at the above referenced property.

Twin Willows/Durigan, Plat N-H, Lot 268, 865 Boston Neck Road, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically a Special Use Permit from the Table of Use Regulations, Use Code – 5814 lunchroom or restaurant (alcohol beverages) (Section 6.1), A Special Use Permit from Nonconforming Uses and Structures (Section 9.1), and a Special Use Permit from Alterations to Nonconforming Structures and Uses (Section 10.1), to construct an ‘L’ shaped rear addition and to expand the existing liquor license, at the above referenced property.

Said petitions are on file in the office of Community Development in the Town Hall and available for review during regular office hours. Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the Department of Community Development at 401-782-0632, 48-hours in advance of the hearing date.
