The state of Rhode Island has allowed for expanded eligibility requirements for who can receive a free at-home COVID-19 test kit. Based on recent announcements by Governor McKee and the Rhode Island Department of Health the Town expects to receive additional disbursements of at-home test kits, from RIDOH, in the coming weeks, and announcements will be made when more tests are available and who is eligible to receive them.

For residents who do not fall into the eligible category for receiving a free COVID-19 at-home test kit from the State distribution, the federal government has also launched a website to sign up for free Covid-19 tests at https://www.covidtests.gov/ that allows people to order a maximum of four tests per household shipped directly to their household.
