Town Of South Kingstown: HURRICANE WATCH ISSUED FOR SOUTHERN RHODE ISLAND

The National Weather Service has issued a hurricane watch for southern Rhode Island.  Significant wind, storm surge and flooding are predicted starting early Sunday, August 22nd throughout the day and into early Monday morning.  Residents are advised to make preparations for the storm and stay tuned for further advisories as the forecast is updated throughout the next forty-eight hours.
