Town Of South Kingstown: Public Notice From Rhode Island Housing

Rhode Island Housing Mortgage & Finance Corporation has issued a notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds as a procedural requirement for a funding application to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. The application seeks financing that will be insured under the HUD Risk Sharing Program, to preserve and improve Indian Run Village Apartments, a Section 8 Elderly and Disabled housing development community. As detailed in the notice, planned improvements include repaving of asphalt surfaces, accessibility modifications, hot water equipment replacement, compactor replacement, fire pump and controller replacement, HVAC equipment replacement, generator replacement, and other general building repairs.
