Two Complete Boy Scouts Leadership Training
Alex Millen and Adam Marasco recently completed six days of Boy Scout White Stag training.
Two Boy Scouts of Troop 1 Narragansett recently completed National Youth Leadership Training at Camp Champlain in Cranston.
Life Scout Alex Millen and Star Scout Adam Marasco completed six days of Boy Scout White Stag training while camping and learning from the nationally acclaimed program that has been part of Boy Scouts since 1959. The White Stag NYLT course centers around the concepts of what a leader must BE, what he must KNOW, and what he must DO.
Alex and Adam, both of Narragansett High School, were selected with 80 other scouts from across Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, based on their rank, ability and recommendation of their Scout Master. The two learned and explored life skills, effective leadership and motivation skills, team development, and shared ideas and experiences with other Scouts from around New England led by boys under national trained adult leadership supervision.
