Wakefield Job Lot to Host Military, Veteran Savings Event

From Oct. 20-23, Ocean State Job Lot stores throughout New England, including the Wakefield location at 36 Old Tower Hill Road, will offer all active duty and retired military servicemen and women, veterans their families and dependents a 30% discount off their purchases.

"Operation: Thank You!" will offer servicemen and women the discount on a multitude of items, food, bed linens, tools, toys, pet supplies, dinnerware and much more. (Excludes luggage, generators, propane and fine area rugs).

"It’s our way of expressing gratitude for all that military personnel have done and are doing for our country," read a statement from the company.

All Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve and retired personnel, Veterans and their immediate family members and dependents are eligible to participate in the 4-day program. Positive ID required at time of checkout may include DOD, discharge papers, VA Hospital, CAC, VFW or American Legion ID cards.
