Winner – Best Place For Wining and Dining

We’ve looked at the poll results and Facebook comments, and we’re declaring Spain of Narragansett the winner of the best place for a romantic dinner in this week’s Best of Patch poll.

Spain earned about 40 percent of the vote, edging out Crazy Burger and Trio. The non-committal “they’re all wonderful” option, “I hate Valentine’s Day” and Dunkin’ Donuts combined for less than 15 percent of the vote.

The result shouldn’t be too surprising, as Spain’s reputation has been well-established over the years. On Yelp, the restaurant has four stars, based on 23 reviews, one of the highest totals for the town. The Providence Journal also gave it rave reviews on two different occasions (but both of those pieces are behind their paywall now).
