Back To School: North Kingstown 2022-23 School Calendar

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Back-to-school planning has already begun in the North Kingstown area, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the North Kingstown Public School District.

The first day of school in North Kingstown for students in grades 1-9 is Sept 6. Grades 10-12 go back Sept. 7, as well as pre-K and kindergarteners.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its two year-and-a-half point.

As of Tuesday, July 26, North Kingstown Public Schools has no plans to require masks in school, regardless of vaccination status.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-25

Winter Break: Dec. 23-Jan.2

Presidents' Day Recess: Feb. 20-21

April Vacation: April 7-April 14

Last Day for seniors: June6

Graduation: June 15
