Shoe Drive: Smith & Agli's Potbelly Manor has partnered with ShoeBox Recycling. We are collecting used shoes, from now until August 30th, that will be sent to ShoeBox Recycling , where they will be cleaned and shipped out for reuse all around the globe. ShoeBox Recycling will give Potbelly Manor $0.50 per every pound of shoes that we collect. Recycling shoes creates jobs and fuels local economies both HERE and ABROAD. Did you know each year over 200 Million shoes are landfilled, and it takes OVER 200 years before a sneaker even starts to break down in the landfill? Shoes can be dropped off at the farm at 401 Ten Rod Road, North Kingstown. We will place a box out on the front porch area for easy drop off. Also, if anyone is interested in bringing one of our boxes to their place of work or their local church, please email Jessica Murray at hddwri@yahoo.com
