Here’s Why Maggie Was Shouted Out As A Star Student In North Kingstown
We all know students who excel in academics, fine arts, or volunteer service. Here's one who is having an impact in North Kingstown.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Maggie is my granddaughter
Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Maggie is a vivacious and enthusiastic young lady. She is a strong and considerate student, always volunteering to help her classmates and teachers. As the second oldest of four girls she has learned how to always share and help out with her younger sisters. Maggie loves to cook, act, and build Legos with her dad, Kyle. When not helping her mom Kaitlin with chores around their house or doing homework she plays soccer in the Surf league and helps a neighbor as a mom’s helper every week. Maggie is the granddaughter of John and Cindy Wilson, Leslie and the late David Buckley and Tom and Barbara Quinn.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
She is a creative thinker and loves to act.
