WICKFORD, RI — Rhode Island State Police publish their arrest records daily, bringing the most up-to-date information on their activity to light.

Below are some of the arrests Rhode Island State Police made on Jan. 16 and 17, 2019.

Around 3 p.m., Jan. 16, police pulled over Wayne Burton, 52, of Providence, on Route 95 in Warwick. He was then arrested on a Superior Court warrant for failure to appear for presentment as a violator on the charge of larceny, originally charged by Providence police.

Around 5:30 p.m., Jan. 16, police arrested Paul Souza, 38, of Warwick, on a Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear on a violation on the charge of simple domestic assault third offense.
