Man In Critical Condition After Crash Into Tree In North Kingstown

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A 38-year-old man is in critical condition after he crashed his car into a tree on Sunday, North Kingstown police said.

Police said the crash happened around 5:08 p.m. on Post Road near the intersection of Hopedale Road.

The driver, who was from North Kingstown, was the only person in the car. Police said the man needed to be extricated from his Subaru Outback and had suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, where he remains in critical condition, as of Monday afternoon.
