NK Council Could Pick New Town Manager Tonight

Interviews are wrapping up and a final decision could soon be reached.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI—The Town Council is conducting its final interviews of candidates and could pick a new town manager as early as Tuesday night.

The council is scheduled to meet in executive session at 5:30 p.m. and could come out of the meeting with the name of their final pick.

The town has not formally named any of the finalists, but several names have circulated on social media, including former Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis and North Kingstown School Committee member Sheila McGauvran.
