NK Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident In North Stonington, Conn.
Brandon Burns, 24, was a 2007 graduate of North Kingstown High School.

A North Kingstown man was killed Sunday night when his motorcycle hit an oncoming truck in North Stonington, Conn., according to the Norwich Bulletin.
Brandon R. Burns, 24, of North Kingstown, was riding his Ducati motorcycle on Cossaduck Hill Road (Route 201) about 7 p.m. Sunday when he crossed into the oncoming traffic lane while negotiating a curve. He hit an oncoming Dodge Ram driven by Alcides R. Silva, 42, of Norwich, Conn.
According to the Norwich Bulletin, Burns was thrown from the bike and died at the scene. Police said in a release he was wearing a helmet.

Silva was taken by ambulance to the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, where he was treated and released.
Burns was a 2007 graduate of North Kingstown High School, where he was a track standout.
