North Kingstown: 10K Reward For Info: Stolen Catalytic Converters
It's worth up to $10,000 to the person who has information about catalytic converters that were stolen, North Kingstown police said.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI—Sometime over the past year, 800 catalytic converters were stolen from the North Atlantic Distribution, Inc. storage yard on Allen Harbor. According to North Kingstown police, the catalytic converters were ripped out of Volkswagen models. Detectives believe the thieves sold them as scrap metal to yards nearby. Anyone with information is asked to call North Kingstown detectives. Tips leading to the arrest of the people responsible could be worth up to $10,000. The reward will be pro-rated based on the value the information represents, police indicated.
