North Kingstown School Committee Names New Interim Superintendent

Interim Superintendent Frank Palotta has nearly 50 years of experience in education, including as a superintendent, principal and teacher.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The North Kingstown School Committee on Monday appointed Frank Pallotta as the interim superintendent for the school district.

Palotta replaces former interim Superintendent Judy Paolucci, who resigned after just about a month on the job.

The new leader of North Kingstown Public School has almost 50 years of experience in education, including stints as a superintendent, principal and teacher.

"The Town of North Kingstown welcomes Dr. Frank Pallotta as the Interim Superintendent of the North Kingstown School Department," a town spokesperson said. "Dr. Pallotta brings with him nearly 50 years of experience and an impeccable reputation. He has served as Superintendent in Lincoln & Burrillville, Interim Superintendent in East Greenwich and South Kingstown, and currently serves as Chair of the North Providence School Committee. He is a proven leader whose experience and demeanor will serve the North Kingstown School System and students well."
