NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — North Kingstown police or school faculty? Who has the better athletes?

Soon, we'll have the answers to those questions, when the two square off in a charity basketball game on April 1 that the North Kingstown Educational Foundation organized.

The game is at the North Kingstown High School gymnasium. Doors are at 4 p.m. and tip-off is at 4:30 p.m. Admission is a suggested donation of $5.

The event celebrates Reading Madness, which challenges students to read. North Kingstown police said they will accept donations of new and gently used books in the lobby of the police station until game day. The police station is located at 8166 Post Road.
