North Kingstown Resident Joins PACE-RI Board of Directors

Carlos Galliano Brings Engineering and Management Expertise to Non-Profit

Carlos Galliano has joined the board of directors of PACE-RI.

Galliano brings three decades of engineering and management experience to the non-profit board of directors. He serves as director of programs for the platforms and payload integration department at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUSC). In that position he oversees 20 project managers as they support submarine and surface ships for the United States and its allies.

Galliano began his career as a mechanical engineer after graduating with a master’s degree in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical engineering from the University of Florida. He holds several patents and is also a graduate of Leadership Rhode Island’s 2019 Omicron II Class.

He is a first-generation American and the son of immigrants that left just prior to the Cuban Revolution. Today, Galliano and his wife, Joanne, reside in North Kingstown with their two sons.
