Obituary: Dorothy (Harvey) Muscatel, 98

Dorothy (Harvey) Muscatel, 98, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Shady Acres Nursing Home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late George Harvey and Helen (Pelican) Harvey. She was the wife of the late Pasquale “Patsy” Muscatel.

Mrs. Muscatel was a Homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. A devout Roman Catholic, she was a Communicant of St. Bernard Church, Wickford and a former communicant of St. John’s Church and Our Lady of Czestochowa in Brooklyn, NY.

She leaves her loving daughter: Gerry R. Grabowski of North Kingstown. She was the mother of the late Kathleen Sayers. Cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Helen Harvey, Joseph Harvey, George Harvey, Jr. and mother-in-law of Charles Sayers of Florida the late Richard F. Grabowski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 10:00 am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, Wickford. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Relatives & friends are invited and may call on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown.
