North Kingstown High's Perfect Season: Skippers Win Superbowl
The Skippers ended 2017 with a perfect season intact. They beat the Moses Brown Quakers 34-16 in the Division II Superbowl.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI—The North Kingstown Skippers met Moses Brown on Sunday at noon for the Division II Superbowl. It was a rematch of a heart-pounding thriller played to double overtime last September. The Skips (12-0-0) won that contest. They went into the Superbowl with a perfect season on the line. Meanwhile, the Quakers (8-2-0) were one point in that double overtime game away from their own perfect season. The 50-49 score was their only loss of the season.
Until Sunday.

In the Division III Superbowl, Burrillville squeezed by Juanita Sanchez/Providence Country Day/Wheeler. The score was 21-14 On Saturday, LaSalle edged Hendricken on a 2-point conversion with seconds left in the game in the Division I Superbowl on Saturday. That score was 22-21. Finally, Cranston East beat Portsmouth 42-28 for the Division I state title.
