Woman Dies In North Kingstown Crash
One woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while another driver was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A woman died in a two-car crash in North Kingstown Tuesday morning, according to emergency officials.
The crash took place around 11:30 a.m., on South County Trail at the intersection of Dry Bridge Road. Police said a dark gray PT cruiser and a white Buick LaCrosse were involved in a head-on collision.
One person was in each car: a 57-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman. Police said the 20-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other woman was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. The extent of her injuries wasn't immediately available.

The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation. Anyone that witnessed either vehicle before or during the collision is asked to call North Kingstown police at 401-294-3311 Ext. 8211.
