- Tidewater Landing will go before Pawtucket Planning Commission on Tuesday. Fortuitous Partners told city planners it wants to modify its schedule to move ahead with its stadium and related amenities ahead of the remainder of the Phase 1 scope. Starting out, they won't have enough on-site parking during pro soccer games, but they say they have a plan. (Pawtucket Patch)
- A Pawtucket cop accused of shooting a teen driver in West Greenwich has been released on bail. On Friday, Officer Daniel Dolan Jr. pleaded not guilty to four felony counts in Kent County Superior Court. (WPRI.com)
- Army Veteran Earl W. Boisclair of Pawtucket has died at the age of 90. Boisclair worked in the sales division of Rowe Vending for many years and served in the 628th Tank Battalion in Germany from 1951 until 1953. (GoLocalProv)
- Pawtucket has become a destination for distilleries and craft breweries. "There’s definitely a sense of collaboration, rather than competition, between the breweries and distilleries," proprietors told The Valley Breeze.
- The wife of a man killed on Route 146 says her husband is irreplaceable. Ruddy Maldonado, 31, "was an amazing man of God, a believer in God, amazing husband, amazing father, amazing son, brother. There are no words to describe the man he was," his wife Tifany told WJAR. Maldonado was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night and a Providence woman is charged in connection with his death.
