Central Falls Drunken Wrong-Way Driver Hit With Gun Charge: Cops
The armed Central Falls man crashed his car in Pawtucket, police said.
PAWTUCKET, RI — An armed, drunken Central Falls man drove the wrong way on Interstate 95 and crashed his car early Sunday, police said.
Claudio Debarrossoaresgo, 46, was charged with carrying a firearm while under the influence of liquor or drugs, driving under the Influence of liquor, reckless driving and refusing to submit to a chemical test, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Troopers were sent to investigate a report of a "wrong-way driver that resulted in a motor vehicle crash," on I-95 in Pawtucket, according to the release.

Debarrossoaresgo was arrested and taken to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned, the release said.
