Clements' Marketplace will celebrate its 33rd birthday Friday with a special performance by the Portsmouth High School band.

Someone is turning 33 this year! 

Clements' Marketplace, known locally as Clements' Market, will celebrate its 33rd year in business this Friday with a host of events, including a special performance by the Portsmouth High School band. 

Clements' Marketplace first opened in 1980 under the name Portsmouth IGA. A family-run business to this day, owned by Donald and Barbara Clements, the name was changed on the market's 10th anniversary in 1990 to the family name - Clements' Marketplace.
