Health Inspections: Dunkin' Donuts, China Gourmet

Here's a look at health inspections performed between Sept. 15 and Oct. 4 in Portsmouth. 

Dunkin' Donuts, 3001 East Main Road - (inspected Sept. 17) 

Spoons used to stir iced coffee were stored in water between uses. Utensils must be stored in a clean, dry location between uses.45Food & non-food contact surfaces cleanable, properly designed, constructed & used 

The butcher block table in the back room is worn and the wood is splitting. Equipment must remain in good repair. Table must be replaced or repaired.49Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices 

A hose is connected to the faucet under the hand sink. This faucet is lacking a backflow prevention device. An approved backflow prevention device is required in order to prevent backflow of a solid , liquid or gas contaminant into the water supply at each point of use at a food establishment.

New China Gourmet 

(Bowls) are being used as scoops in containers of rice. Utensils used to dispense non-potentially hazardous foods such as sugar and flour must be stored in the food item with their handles above the top of the food within the container.
