Health Inspections: Montaup Grille, Schultzy's Snack Shack
The Health Department performed two inspections at Portsmouth businesses in May.

Editor's Note: The following statements are from health inspection reports by the Rhode Island Department of Health, submitted in May.
Montaup Grille, 500 Anthony Road — The Health Department noted 4 violations during an inspection May 7.
- Observed cup of coffee on make table cutting board. On cutting board there was a ring around the cup in which the coffee had been spilled. This ring was directly next to celery. Coffee was moved to a proper drink storage area.
- Observed stored foods uncovered in the walk in cooler.
- Observed tongs being stored on oven handle.
- Plastic cups are being used as scoops in containers of dressing in make table. Utensils used to dispense non-potentially hazardous foods such as sugar and flour must be stored in the food item with their handles above the top of the food within the container.
Schultzy's Snack Shack, Park Avenue - The Health Department noted 0 violations during an inspection May 10.Â
