With his DeCastro family owning and operating DeCastro Farms – a local garden and produce center – founded by his grandfather, Gairad developed a passion for the green industry and branched out on his own the moment he got his driver’s license, mowing lawns and saving money to one day open his own green business.

At age 17, he launched DeCastro Landscaping without accepting any financial assistance.

Only six years later, he is now launching a new service to fill clients' needs.

Weed Man is a lawn care franchise company, offering environmentally responsible fertilization, weed control and integrated pest management services.

The Weed Man franchise has been in business for more than 40 years and currently has more than 265 territories throughout the United States.
