Portsmouth Man Caught with Heroin, Cocaine, Loaded AR-15
The Massachusetts State Police said they arrested the 35-year-old Rhode Islander after they responded to his disabled vehicle on Route 140.

TAUNTON, MA—A Portsmouth man was arrested for carrying cocaine, heroin and an AR-15 rifle after a traffic stop in Taunton on Friday, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
Jason Rutter, 35, was arrested after a rookie trooper and his field training officer came upon his 2002 Jeep Liberty disabled near exit 11 on Route 140, police said.
Police found heroin and cocaine in the car after a search and later, once Rutter was arrested for the drugs, police found a loaded AR-15 rifle with several high capacity magazines.

Rutter is facing charges of possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a firearm without an FID, and two drug possession counts.
Rutter was released on $1,000 bail and will be arraigned in Taunton District Court on Monday.
