Portsmouth Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealer
The 29-year-old man is a Portsmouth resident, police said. He was arraigned in Newport on Tuesday.
PORTSMOUTH, RI— Gregory Dane, 29, of Portsmouth, was arrested Tuesday at 8 a.m. at his home. Police had obtained an arrest warrant after he was implicated in a narcotics investigation, Portsmouth Police said, to find a person selling fentanyl/oxycodone pills in Town. Police said they also seized fentanyl/oxycodone pills "as a result of the investigation/arrest." Dane has been charged with delivering drugs (Manufacturing/Possession/ Delivery of Schedule I/II), police said.
