March 9

Allen Duane Foster, 50, of Fall River, Mass., was stopped at 10:09 a.m. on Route 24 North at Cedar Island and taken into custody on a Superior Court bench warrant.

Devante Deshawn Lee, 20, of Newport, was stopped at 4:40 p.m. at Citizens Bank on East Main Road and cited for Driving after the license was denied, suspended or revoked.

Angel Merced, 42, of Portsmouth, was arrested at his home at 9:27 p.m. and charged with Domestic Simple Assault or Battery and Domestic Disorderly conduct.

March 11

Dionisio JM Gil, 26, of Fall River, Mass., was stopped at 1:46 a.m. on West Main Road at Turkey Hill and charged with Driving under the influence, first offense.
