Portsmouth Police: Porch Pirate In Custody

PORTSMOUTH, RI — Cheyanne Brannen. 21, turned herself into police on Saturday. Officers had a warrant for her arrest. She is the alleged Portsmouth Porch Pirate.

Police had posted a video showing a woman taking a delivery package from the front porch of a Wapping Road home on March 4.

Brannen is being charged with Larceny under $1,5oo. She was held at the Adult Correctional Institutions overnight on a separate charge and will be arraigned on Monday in Newport District Court.
