George H. Parlow, 84, of Portsmouth, died Nov. 27, 2013 after a long struggle with emphysema and congestive heart failure. He was the loving husband of 62 years to Jean (Nagle) Parlow.
He was the beloved father of Christopher Parlow, Richard Parlow and his wife Debbie, Susan Noruk and her husband Jeff and Elizabeth Zachary and her husband Lee. He was the proud and doting “Pop-Pop” to Lexi, Andrew, Justin, Brandon, Alyssa and Nikolas, McKenna.
George was the brother of William Parlow and Jean Tsairas and was also the brother of the late Ann Foster.
He served his country for more than 30 years in active duty for both, the Air Force and Navy, as well as the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, Dec. 2, at St. Barnabas Church.
