Sailboats Drift in Portsmouth; Search for Possible Missing Boater

Rescue crews were called to  late Tuesday afternoon after reports of several boats overturned, as well as a report of a possible missing boater.

The call came in around 5:15 p.m. Rescue crews from Portsmouth and Middletown responded. According to a report from the scene, about three or four small sailboats had overturned.

There was a report of a possible boater in the water. Portsmouth Patch Local Editor Sandy McGee is on the scene and will have further updates as they become available.
