Truck Breakdown In Portsmouth Causes Morning Traffic Woes
The disabled box truck was cleared around 7:30 a.m., but not before causing significant backups on Route 24.

PORTSMOUTH, RI — A broken-down box truck snarled traffic in Portsmouth Thursday morning. It was cleared by about 7:30 a.m., but not before causing some serious delays for morning commuters.
Portsmouth police reported the disabled truck a little after 6:45 a.m., in the area of West Main Road and Turkey Hill. The breakdown caused a serious traffic backup on Route 24.
The road was cleared about 45 minutes later, and traffic maps showed little traffic congestion in the area as of 9:30 a.m.
