  2. A city-wide parking ban went into effect at 2:00 AM on Saturday morning and will remain in effect until further notice. 3. The Nurses’ union has launched a campaign urging all unvaccinated Rhode Islanders to get immunized against COVID-19. The campaign was launched on Thursday by The United Nurses and Allied Professionals (UNAP) to encourage everyone to protect themselves and others by getting fully vaccinated and boosted against the virus. The campaign features video interviews with nurses who have worked on the frontlines of the pandemic, as a way to educate Rhode Islanders about the emotional and physical toll COVID-19 has taken on healthcare professionals.
