Dog Dies In Providence House Fire
Fire officials say the fire on Broad Street took crews about an hour to extinguish.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A house fire in Providence on Thursday night killed a dog, city fire officials said.
Providence Fire Chief Derek Silva said they were called to a commercial and residential building on Broad Street around 7 p.m. Silva posted on X that it took crews about an hour to get the flames under control.
No people were hurt in the fire, Silva said.
