American Band, Smithfield High Band, Play 'Diversions' Sunday

Concert hosted April 7 at Smithfield High School

The American Band, the second oldest continuously perfoming concert band in America —now in their 176th season — will perform with the Smithfield High School band tomorrow during the "Diversions" concert.

The double-feature provides an interesting twist: Kelly Chartier, the Smithfield High's band director, plays the flute in the American Band.
