Chepachet Man Killed In Connecticut Crash
A 70-year-old man from Chepachet was killed and another Rhode Island man was seriously hurt.

BURRILLVILLE, RI--Roland Marois, 70, of Chepachet, has died after suffering innjuries in a collision Saturday in Putnam, Conn., near the state line. Connecticut troopers said the accident happened on Route 44 near Tucker Hill Road. Raymond Breault, 94, of Pascoag, was driving a Chevy truck that crossed over the center line and hit Marois's car, traveling in the opposite direction. Both drivers were taken to UMass Hospital. Breault's injuries were described as serious. The accident is still under investigation.
