'Golf Like MADD' will Raise Funds to Fight Underage Drinking

Mini-golf fundraiser set for April 27.

 

Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD) RI and Smithfield High School’s Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD) are hosting the first-ever mini-golf “Golf Like MADD!” April 27.

With prom season just around the corner, the goal of the event is to raise awareness of the consequences associated with underage drinking and drunk driving. The event, which is open to local community members of all ages, will be held from 11 am to 2 pm at Mulligan's Island Golf & Entertainment in Cranston, RI.

MADD RI works throughout the year to reinforce the fact that you can have fun without the use of alcohol or drugs. Proceeds from this event will directly benefit MADD RI and SmithfieldHigh School’s SADD efforts to educate the about the dangers of underage drinking and drunk driving.
