Monday Essentials: Scouts Rally, Georgiaville Pond Talk, Smith-Appleby Wants You

Cub Scout Rally Tuesday - Cub Scout Pack 3 will host a rally Tuesday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Greenville Baptist Church, 582 Putnam Pike, to give boys in every elementary school the opportunity to join Cub Scouts. Boys in grades 1-5 are invited to join. Cub Scouts typically meet two to three times a month in small den groups and monthly as a member of the Pack for an evening of activities, fun and games, skits, ceremonies and recognition.  

Council talks Georgiaville Pond water - On Tuesday, the Smithfield Town Council meets at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 64 Farnum Pike, to discuss water levels at Georgiaville Pond. 

Y Fall Session The Smithfield YMCA's Fall I Session begins this week. Sign-up for swim lessons today to ensure your children do not lose any endurance or stroke refinement that was gained during the summer.
