Monday Five: Martin Luther King Day, Parents, Facebook, Holiday Trash

Happy Martin Luther King Day - here are some things you should be thinking about today:

Martin Luther King - Today is the national holiday honoring Martin Luther King. It's also a national day of service, a "day on, not a day off." The MLK Day of Service is a part of United We Serve,  calling for Americans from all walks of life to work together to provide solutions to the country's most pressing problems. How are you going to serve?

Parent Committee The Parent Committee is seeking new members. The committee is an important way for parents to be involved in a child’s education. Parent involvement sets higher goals for the child and helps them appreciate learning both at home and at school. It’s a great opportunity to meet other TCW families. Come out Thursday, Jan. 24, 5-6 p.m. at 22 Cedar Swamp Road.
