Christmas Tree Pickup - The town will pick up discarded Christmas trees on normal scheduled pickup days Jan. 7 – 11. Remove all tree bags, tinsel, ornaments, stands, etc.

School Committee - The Smithfield School Committee meets tonight at 7 p.m. in the Smithfield High School Media Center. Among the items on their agenda, a discussion and vote on the school department's District Emergency Response Plan.
