School Committee - The Smithfield School Committee meets tonight, 7 p.m., at Smithfield High School. On their agenda, Approval of 2013-2014 Budget and an Interim Technology Director.

Audubon Passport - In honor of Earth Day, Audubon is offering a free guided walk at Kimball Wildlife Refuge, 180 Sanctuary Road, Charlestown, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Just visit the Audubon Environmental Education Center in Bristol or Powder Mill Ledges Nature Shop in Smithfield to receive your free passport.

Smith-Appleby May Breakfast - Make reservations now for our 40th Annual May Breakfast, May 5. Jonnycakes, homemade breads & more served in our historic house museum by volunteers in Colonial dress. Call & make reservations now.

 Y Blood Drive - The Smithfield YMCA is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, April 23 from 4:30 - 8 p.m. Please think about donating blood to help save lives. Call Shauna at 949-2480 ext. 12 to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome too, but due to Monday's tragedy in Boston, the RI Blood Center is expecting and hoping for higher volume than usual.

YMCA Road Race - Mark you calendars for the Smithfield YMCA F. Monroe Allen 5K Road Race and Big Truck Day & Healthy Kids Day April 27, 9 a.m. at the Smithfield YMCA,  15 Deerfield Dr.
