Paiva Weed will visit members at the Kirkbrae Country Club, 197 Old River Road in Lincoln to answer: What will be the outcome of the proposed reduction in the Jobs Development Tax Credit and what will it mean to Northern Rhode Island and major employers like CVS/Caremark? Will this be the year that Rhode Island’s regulatory environment gets a major overhaul? Will the rollout of the Rhode Island Health Insurance Exchange in October end up costing the state and/or businesses more money? Do General Assembly leaders have a plan to address a court loss for the state in the “retirement reform” litigation?

Business leaders who are concerned about keeping northern Rhode Island a strong and attractive place to do business should not miss this opportunity to hear from a state leader who has an instrumental part in making that happen.
