St. Philip Church on Putnam Pike held its annual three-day festival last weekend, with many fun activities for its parishioners to enjoy.

From amusement rides and carnival games to a penny social, arts and crafts displays, a "cake walk" and a pie baking competition, the event offered something for everyone.

Luigi's Restaurant in Johnston offered a special treat on Thursday night — an Italian buffet — and on Saturday night, provided guests with an early taste of a turkey dinner.
