Smithfield Police Keep the Peace During Car Repossessions

About 10 vehicles were removed from the Twin River Auto Sales lot April 3.

 

Smithfield Police officers were called to the Twin River Auto Sales lot April 3 to keep the peace during the repossession of several vehicles.

Police were called to the 76 Douglas Pike address at about 7:33 p.m. by Michael Holmes, owner of Lucky 13 Recovery of Worcester, MA. Holmes was there with an order for the repossession of about 30 vehicles, according to Officer Kerrin D'Agnelli's report. ADESA-AFC Corporate Franchise had contacted Lucky 13 Recovery to remove the vehicles from the lot.

D'Agnelli and three other officers responded to the business, where about 10 vehicles were towed from the lot by Holmes and two of his employees. The remaining vehicles were located at other locations, according to D'Agnelli's report.
