Smithfield Police Log: March 22 through March 25

The following information was provided by the Smithfield Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, March 22:

  • At about 3:45 a.m., a Smithfield Police officer responded to Deerfield Park for a report of a crash into a pole, no injuries.
  • At about 11:45 p.m., a Smithfield Police officer arrested Michael Catarina, 18, for driving with an expired license.
  • At about 11:45 p.m. a Smithfield Police officer arrested Laura Szczoczarz, 25, for driving with a suspended license.
  • At about 11:45 p.m., Smithfield Police arrested Stephen Morin, 30, for failing to appear in court on a previous charge.
  • At about 11:45 p.m., a Marine Alert Signal was located on a local road and turned in to the police department.

Saturday, March 23:

  • At about 3:45 p.m., Smithfield Police responded to an address on Stillwater Road to speak with three tresspassers who were warned not to return to the property.
  • At about 3:45 p.m., Smithfield Police responded to Williams Road, where two neighbors were involved in an arguement about a dog. 
  • At about 3:45 p.m. Smithfield Police responded to the corner of Smith Street and Friar Brook drive for a report of a car crash with injuries. 
  • At abour 11:45 p.m., Smithfield police responded to the parking lot of Hess Express for a two-car crash with no reported injuries.

Sunday, March 24:

  •  At about 3:45 p.m., Smithfield Police arrested Taylor D. Delvecchio, 21, for driving with a suspended license.
  • At about 3:45 p.m., Smithfield Police arrested James S. Maron, 26 for driving with a suspended license.
  • At about 11:45 p.m., Smithfield Police responded to the Hess Station for a car crash, no injuries.
  • At about 11:45 p.m. a Smithfield Police officer received a call about two missing juveniles. Both youths were located.

 

Monday, March 25 

  • At about 3:45 p.m., Smithfield Police arrested Ingrid Ordonez, 27, for driving with a suspended license.

Tuesday, March 26 

  • At about 3:45 p.m. Smithfield Police responded to Tucker Road for a report of a man displaying himself nude at the door and window of his house.
