The Children’s Workshop Students Raise $700 for Coins for Cures
Kids emptied piggy banks, scouted for change for charity.

The students at The Children’s Workshop, a local child provider on Cedar Swamp Road in Smithfield, teamed up with Coins for Cures to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital. The kids emptied out their piggy banks and dug through the couch cushions to raise $723.58 in pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters for Boston Children’s Hospital.
“Coins for Cures is a great way to get our children involved in a community project,” said Kelli Didomenico, Director of Parent and Community Relations at The Children’s Workshop. Coins for Cures is a fundraising program run by Children's Hospital Trust, which promotes philanthropic engagement to support Boston Children's Hospital and advance its missions of patient care, research, education and community service.
